Eleven benches

Workshop Seventeen occupies a former print hall on the edge of the city. There are eleven benches, two kilns for steam-bending, and no assembly line.

Each maker takes a piece from rough stock to finish. It is slower and it is the reason a Halden takes four weeks.

Visitors are welcome on Fridays. Bring flat shoes — the floor is original and it is uneven.
